Feeding role

All living organisms have a role in who eats who and what eats what. These roles are called niches. Living things can have more than one niche, knowing about their niches can help explain how they behave and interact with other animals, plants or people. The Fossa is a heterotroph carnivore, this means that it obtains nutrition by preying on then eating the animals around it such as lemurs, pigs and poultry.
